Greater Newton Area

A Community of Change

Hi, This is my CJ! My very first CJ, so please be nice. 9.gif

The Greater Newton Area Originaly was an awful area. It was governed by a ruler named James Newton II. Once James II came into office, The once wonderful cities went bad. They had great universities, terrific criminal justice systems, and great schools. The area was founded under the term "Education For A Better Life" Once James II came in, he slacked on funding in the local schools & universities. That made the citizens very angry. So they started to rejoice, planning a suprise attack on James II. One rainy day in 1721, The citizens attacked. They had pitchforks, flaming torches, and banners with James II on it, to set fire to. Once James II saw the riot, he chuckled. Saying, "I'll never stop!" Then he called his military base. He told them to eliminate the riot. Once the military came, There was a war. It raged for 4 years. In the end, the citizens broke into James II's loft, and locked him up in a cage, on top of his palace, and told him if he didnt fix Newton, he would get cut from the chains & fall to the ground. Finally, James II said he would fix the reigon. And help the citizens down. He sweared to the statue of Nerton (the holy statue in the Newton Area) that he would, if not he would suffer consiquences.

This Is all for my first part! (PS dont worry it gets better!) I will have the 1st update soon! Sorry No Pics yet, My new Firefox Browser is giving me a hard time. 42.gif  Anyway, Enjoy!   44.gif

Nice intro story you got there! I'll be looking forward to your pics as well -- and enjoy Firefox! It is way easier to edit your messages on FF than Chrome (I run both, but, I use Firefox to edit my messages). I'll be watching your CJ too... 9.gif

Hi Everybody! I have some pictures of Newton in the 1700's.  Notice the wonderful colorful mansions and the nice grass. This is before James II came into office.

Also notice the lake in the 2nd picture. The Newtonian's Relied a lot on that lake for transportation & Industry also for recreation. Once James II came into office, that lake became a prime breeding ground for the military and the war.  Thanks for all the replies! Enjoy! More to come soon!

Hello Again! As promised, I am continuing the story of Newton.   48.gif

    The New Land

Once James II came down, he announced that he would lead everybody into a new land. And he did. The citizens of Newton followed James II into very gorgous land. The land had a wonderful lake with clear drinking water, and a mountain to mine possibly valuble resources from. And along the lake was white sandy beaches, and shallow sloped edges. The citizens were astonished at the land. Then James II rose up on a podium. He said, "This will be the new home of Newton!" Yay! The people of "New Newton" were overjoyed.

The Next day all of Newton got to work. They began to lay out the highways, avenues, and roads of Newton. Then sadly, James II got very sick and passed away. There was a funeral ceremony and a new cemetary was founded in his name. The people of Newton the next day, elected a new mayor. His name was George E. Ivory. The people loved him! He was a very outgoing and adventurous mayor. He, in fact was the main person who made Newton what it is today. He built the coal mines in the Cumberland Mountains that surround Newton. He also built the airport that is in Newton today. Along with many other things. That is all for this update. There are some pictures below. These pictures are of Newton in its current location. The First two are a little before James II died. The others are once George came into office.  Enjoy! ~ Tyed09  10.gif

It's not bad work. Although, it could use a little more content, but your CJ has great potential to stand out.

Hi Everyone! Sorry I haven't been updating.  15.gif

Anyway since I figured I have finished the history of Newton, I'll tell you about what goes on there today.

             Newton Now

Now in the 2000's, Newton is a bustling city (or you could call it region because it's so big) It consists of a Large International Airport (a.k.a. Newton International Airport) with several terminals. It also has a subway system (a.k.a. Newton Metro) with over 20,000 miles of track. There also is the Newton Industrial Park. That consists of over 20 square miles of industry. (factorys, ect.) The police force is also great. That concludes this update! I have a several pictures on here so take a look! Enjoy! ~Tyed09
