Download problem

Can anyone tell me why the STEX is so EXTREMELY slow in downloading? it takes an eternity to download one single file, really really frustraiting.
0-10 kB/sec is not normal! should be at least 100-200 kB/sec
The problem must be on this site, because my internetconnection is fast, and i got no problems with other websites

This is all due to the server speed. Hopefully ST is in the process of a server upgrade and a lot of the slowness around here can be fixed.

i thought so. I've sent a pm to Dirk; hope this can be fixed, or upgraded. It's so frustrating..

remember, these servers cost dirk money. since it's provided free to you, don't ask to upgrade. i'm sure its due to alot of traffic, and if u give it a day or two, u should be back to the normal speeds. it does happen from time to time

Well that was a bit rude, you have no idea if he/she has contributed financially to the site. I have and certainly wouldn't take too kindly to that comment.
