how do u chnage the from full screen to window mode??

That Doesn't help at all.

It looks like you "dun it now" but im going to post this just to make sure.

On your windows desktop, find your simcity 4 icon. Right click on it and choose properties. Now find the target box; this tells the shortcut where to find the game. After the directory link, add -w -r800x600x32 (or whatever is smaller than your default resolution). another example, is -w -r1024x768. This will display SimCity 4 in full screen but the taskbar will still show. (Keep in mind, this is only if you have a default resolutoin of 1024x768, and a 32-bit operating system.)

if its in the target box then its not working cause it says,

If you look in the picture above, it should look exactly like that.

Another thing you can do is turn the intro off!  just use -Introff

You won't need to add the resolution unless you want a different resolution than you have selected in the game. The windowed mode will have that resolution if you just add the tag -w.

What if u use SC4 StartupManager?

Once you add the tag [-w] to the shortcut target, and start the game with it once, it will always load to a window, regardless of how you start the game. To go back to full screen add the -f tag.
