US Version sold in AUS

Now, most aussie's would agree with me, EA weren't thinking clearly, now EA sell Sim City 4 (Left-Hand Drive) versions in Europe, and they sell Right Hand Drive versions in AUS, but we drive on the left hand side, don't you find this funny?

I would (and maybe some others) would like to know where to find a mod that changes Sim's driving habits to suit Australian conditions.

Gosh, I wish i was handy with knowing the exact link, but there are the driving modes you are looking for here on simtropolis. Trust me. I would PM a moderator to help ya on the exact links.

Wish you luck, and don't give up.

Well, I know theres a "Left to Right hand drive" mod, but not a "Right to Left hand drive" one. You'd think it should have worked vise versa too, then again, I may be looking in the wrong places.

Like the idea of the regedit, but it didn't work

EDIT: Since "English" Folder name is changed, SimCity can't find the Locale.dat which holds most of the information for messages, and other things.

Thanks for the link, it was something I never thought I would ever be able to change. I've managed to get the game to play left-handed (using the instruction above) however I've found that certain key elements have changed and now stuffing my game up. for instance, the basic one way bridge now doesn't allow traffic across it. other bridges have an ugly black shadow. if i draw a one-way street and then put a railway through it, it puts the stop line on the wrong side to where it's meant to be! does someone know what I have stuffed up or am missing...or if i should pm a particular person to receive help on these problems i'm having. thanks!

For some reason I always thought that this stuff was determined by the OS Language/Region settings, that is how it is for many other games, especially relating to American vs English spelling situations. That way they only have to make one version of the game. Then again, driving on the left is nothing more than archaic so you could use your right hand to yield your sword at on coming traffic. If you are really bothered, use NAM to fix it, otherwise, just deal with having a game that is logical nearly everywhere else in the world.

you could just somehow buy an English-Europe version - but that might be a little tricky. , it would do the trick.you can make (sort-of)left hand avenues by using two one way roads.
