Moolah Cheat

Ive tried this multiple times and cant get it to work.  I think ive tried every possible variation.  Would someone be willing to do a scenario on what EXACTLY to do to get this cheat to work??

First install the Extra Cheats DLL Mod (its possible that that unlocks this cheat).

Then, type control-x to open the box

Then, type in: moolah 500000

and hit enter.

This will make your funds exactly $500,000 whether you had $0 or $9999999999 initially.

Thank you!  I unfortunately only have internet at work, not at home yet.  I will have to get it soon, so I can download the Extra cheats MOD.  Im kind of computer illiterate, but is there a way to download stuff on a disk, say at work here, and then bring the disk home and have it there to install??

Yes, download it at work, put it on a pendrive or disk or CD, put it in your home computer, unzip the file and place it in your My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder..

oh, after installing the extra cheats dll, you can aswell open the chatbox in game (ctrl+x) and then rightclick into the box

you get sorta a dropdown menu with all the available cheats listed, leftclick on the desired link and go for it.

(don't forget to enter a value when you use the moolah cheat)

Well! I am unable to download anything onto a disk at work!!! It looks as if Im limited as to what I can do with my cities until I get the Internet.  Yet, Im doing very well on my new region.  OOOPS!!  I need to build another school!!

Well, there isn't unlimied money since you are capped at  $9999999999, but I get what you're saying.

You probably should have started a new thread, but to get the extra cheats .dll to work it must be directly under your Plugins folder with no sub-folder. This is probably your trouble.

The syntax for moolah is

CTRL+xmoolah <number>RETURN

Where:

<number> is any integer less and or equal to 999999999999

no punctuation is allowed in the number. This number replaces the treasury balance. It is not an increment.
