Welcome to my New BAT Thread for Portsmouth

Portsmouth is the UK's most crowded city. Its 187.000 population in the city and around 400.000 in the District are crammed on Portsea Island, the Gosport Peninsula and within the South Downs. It is home to the Royal Navy, hosts the International Fleet Review and Festival if the Sea and has a Premiership Football Club. Some More Random Facts, Portsmouth has 4 Ferry Ports, more Pubs per head than any other City in the UK and is home to 20 Forts (3 of which built on artificial islands) and 2 Castles.

I have managed o Finish Several Portsmouth Buildings and they are available on the Stex.

I always thought Portsmouth was more or less all low-rise but with some of the buildings I jave seen you make from Portsmouth it look's like a great place for mid-rise architecture, nice and modern. From what I have seen it looks nowhere bad as your signature sounds!

Portsmouth has more Hi Rise than any other UK city south of London, Eastside Plaza is actually classed as a Skyscraper i think, anyway this is the purpose of this thread, to let you know44.gif

The Eastside Plaza is definently my favorite of your BATs yet, by a long shot actually. The building is quite amazing on it's own, but you did an amazing job recreating it!44.gifCan't wait to see what's next!19.gif

Looking Forward to the Tricorn! For those of you who are unaware with the Tricorn, well its a shopping center and car park. Now demolished (and missed) it was voted the ugliest Building in Europe. I liked it myself, misunderstood Building.

Yes, The Tricorn is a sad loss.  Here's a photo of it taken by my own fair hands last year, a few months before demolition:

    Update Time!

I have added the entrance canopy now and replaced the roof with glass and aluminium like the real building, touched up the textures a bit and am now working on the lighting rig. the back of the lower two floors is still a bit bland but this will be covered by trees anyway so it does not really matter.
