Fairveiw (My first CJ)

Hey everyone! I'm new, but I've been lurking around & looking at other peoples CJ's for awhile. so I decided to make my own. I'm using the classic Fairveiw Map. Just a warning. Don't excpect anything spectacular. But, of corse I'll try my best.

Anyway here's what I've been working on in the past hour or so...

I'll update you with some more pics ASAP! I'm also working on a history kind of bio for the region, but don't expect it for awhile. It's a start.

Congratulations on starting your first CJ.  I hope that you have fun with this.  If you want another place to look for ideas, though, check out New Rhodesia.  It is a favorite of mine, I think that you will find some great ideas in it.

 

EDIT: I never thought that I would get to witness the birth of a new CJ and be the first to post.

Okay I've been working on the region for about 2 or 3 hours durring the past few days. So here goes.


Here's a pic of what the region looks like now.


This one was taken in my only commercial city so far, it looks like it's coming along nicely so far.


I'll try to get some more pics tonight & tell you about my future plans for the region later.

BTW- springfield is just recovering from a spending-spree. So it was bankrupt until I raised the taxes & made some budget cuts so, it won't be back to it's formal glory for awhile.

The other cities are doing great; making money, growing etc.

Welcome to Simtropolis and I wish you a good start with your CJ.

One thing that I noticed is your title, which says *Fairveiw*. Maybe it is supposed to be *Fairview*? Was it a typing error? If you want me to change this, I can, just let me know here. I'll be back!

All I can say is bigger pictures please!

It looks promising, but the pics are so tiny I can barely see any detail!

Lets see those crazy transit systems and creative use of the custom lots. Good luck with it all.
