I have an idea for a mod. It is just a terrain mod that I would make,of course, but so far I am clueless about making mods, so,well, here's my idea. %7Boption%7D The white very near the surface of the sea is supposed to be shallow, and arctic-frozen looking. The surface of deeper water is supposed to be dark blue, and all above the water colours is higher, and higher. You would think up the elevations yourself, I don't want to be too picky. EDIT;The image dosen't work, more details;Just above the sea shore would be light green, then dark green, then bright orange[looking like an orange juice,by the way, I think I'll get one now] then bright yellow, then dark red, light red, pinkish white, yellowish white, then just white. Do you think you can make it? [if the image works, it must look crude, sorry about that]

I downloaded this mod a few days ago, installed it to my plugins folder and went to render a map I had just drawing up in Paint. When the rendering was complete, instead of the desert look, I got the default look instead. Well, after doing a search today, I found the answer to my problem. Didn't add the 'Plains.dat' along with the 'Desert_Plains_Textures.dat' like it states below. Coincidentally, there was no readme with the zip file I downloaded. To install, just copy the 'Plains.dat' and 'Desert_Plains_Textures.dat' to your plugin folder. OR, if you want the snow-capped version, install 'Plains_Snowcapped.dat' and 'Desert_Plains_Textures.dat' PLUS 'arctic_snowcapped_textures.dat' from the Arctic/Snow-capped Mod in your plugin folder.ft> I thought I'd post this because I thought it would be a good example of how a simple search through the forums can yield results if you take the time to look2.gif. By the way, this is a fantastic looking terrain mod and can't wait to re-render my map to see how it looks.
