MayorTim: On the first post you made, the 4th picture. You may have already corrected this, but if not then your rail system might be screwed up in Verona. The elevated rail station isn't connected on both sides. The one I am talking about is all the way on the left of the picture. Other than that, great city

Guys, I really need help. I can't upload any pictures! I just keep getting the same bug. I got 4 of 9 to work. I really can't make an update like this. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, PLEASE tell me.

Here is an up to date traffic map of peninsula. You can see that Verona has grown a lot since my last update.

Here is an update on Downtown Verona.

here is Spire Park from another angle.

The Isola Secara. In recent years this small island just off the mainland shot up and is now a major tourist attraction. Many people come for the marinas and glass bottom boat rides. People also come to see the Forte La Secara which is one of the oldest buildings in the city.

And finally an update! I have done a lot with the suberbs since the last update. Hope you guys like it! I am far from done with the city of Verona and its suberbs though. Hopefully I will be able to update more frequently from now on. Now on to the pictures!

How did you come up with the name Gotland

It is a name from Norway. I am 1/4 Italian 2/8 German and 3/14 from Norway.

Your city looks GREAT!!! I remember looking at this one a while back and now its perfect! I love everything about it. I'd have to rate this one a definate 10 out of 10. I love the park! The downtown is increadible!!!! Out of all the cj's I've seen, this one is one of my favorites if not my favorite! I have absolutely no complaints for this one at all!!!! You did so good with the downtown!!!! I love the landscape too! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! I'll be checking on this one A LOT! Check out my Miami region!

I made the Airport with Joerg's Airport pack. It is awsome, but takes some getting used to. It is on the LEX if your interested.

And todays City update will be on Rimini since I changed the airport slightly.

Some of the suberbs I made today include the Great Oaks Subdivision. It was a hit and many rich folks now live here.

Wow Mayor tim im speechless.  Your region is breathtaking to say the least.  I love your layouts and your downtown is huge with massive building.  I can hope my fledgling city of Confluence can get that big. .  Oh and thanks for your suggestions with my Howard River Basin Region.  Its greatly appreciated.  i look forward to your next update.  How many people do you have in your region?

Here is a close up of Rimini's airport (If anyone has a suggestion for a good name, please post it).

The ForeManns Center of the Arts is one of Rimini's most popular Tourist attractions.

The airport was really starting to bug me. It just wasn't good enough. So I just blew the whole thing up and rebuilt it. Here is what it looks like now.

I think its a major improvement. I might destroy one of the three runways in back but I thought I would ask you guys first. As of now it has 7 runways.

For the airport name, maybe Verona International? I don't think you need to have complicated names and all.

 

And maybe you could bulldoze the southern two runways and one of the northern two and the middle one of the eastern runways. It would look somewhat better with less runways, IMO. But it's your region.

A suggestion about the airport name:

 

Verona (name) Airport.

 

Download the City name program and generate fiddle around with the Mayor name part of it. When you come up with something you like, use it.

 

NB: this is just a suggestion. You are not obliged to take it.
