No-snow

I'm currently using the Italian Terrain Mod and have a problem with the snow... I don't like it...

It's not the color or something like that, I just don't want it to appear (or at least WAY higher...)

The way it is, there will be snow as soon as 500m. Well, looking at reality, this is the case at maybe 3000m. If I want to create some mountain area, I can't build towns except for valleys, because most of you know how it'll look... green backyards on snow and so on

I'm already using the higher-snow-version included, but I'd like the snow to appear at terrain at least 3 times higher, so if there's any way to increase that, I'd love to see that

I once tried another terrain mod and had the same problem, so I guess this problem appears with all (green! no desert) terrain mods. If not, please tell me

PS: I haven't seen any "real" mediterrean terrain mod yet, is there any or can anyone create one? The Italien one is a bit too green for my taste, I'd love something like southern Spain or Greece. But the snow-problem would be my priority

I'll look for something like that, but please post how the terrain is... (what im planning a Californian Mediterranean  Terrain Mod, that I think its similar to the South Europe Mediterranean )

I have a modified Cyclepuppy Italia terrain where the snow doesn't appear below 2000M. I've also made other modifications to some of his other terrain mods to raise the snow level to higher elevations. I don't believe it's possible to raise the snow level to 3000m for the Italia though as it's max height is set to a lower height and that I have figured out how to change yet.
