Racing Track Bats

I'm building a simple pit-lane/paddock building for my first BAT, to be used in my racing track set, preferably so that it can be used as a wall to wall type situation. So I made the first model precisely no more than 32 metres across. However, it would not fit on a 2x2 lot. I then downscaled to less than 30 metres, but it STILL won't fit.

As you can probably see, the grey building placeholder in the right screen is MUCH bigger than the actual building...

Looks really good so far! remember to include some lighting gantries and some stands 9.gif! Perhaps you could add in some tyre tracks round the corners just to make it a bit more realistic?

I modified the shinyness of the seat material a bit. And made them orange. And made the entire stand a bit bigger.

Not related to racing, but I made this building. Was a great learning experience and also very very frustrating.

    nice work. 1.gif

i'd like to see a race track that is made functional. i think it is possible because it only needs to be comprised of puzzle pieces with paths - which i've made before; and (i'm assuming) an additinal automata generating/spawning item which is placed with it. maybe it's even possible to make the entire thing just by making one very large single TEL - but i can't be sure of that one.

either way, i doubt anyone would do it. for the work involved, it wouldn't add much to the game as it serves no real purpose other than eye-candy even with racing car automata driving around.
