2 questions: Airport Usage and Startup Video

Something strange is happening with my airport.  Everytime I leave the city, when I go back in my city, my airport look depressed, and my Usage is at 0 !  Once I run the game for one month, my airport is back with its usual usage and look clean and good again. 

Is this a common bug?  Or is there something wrong with my game?  I am using SC4 Deluxe with the latest patch from Maxis.

Also, is there any way to remove the "EA Games: CHallenge everything" at the startup of the game?  I can skip the video by pressing Escape, or by clicking my mouse button, but I just cant skip that "EA Games" startup video.  If I could skip everything and just directly go to the loading it would be even better, but is there, at least, a way to skip the "EA Games" video?

the EA games video is pretty easy to block.

In the shortcut for your game, right click on it, and choose properties from the menu. Go to shortcut tab, then in the target box, after the last quotation mark, type -intro:off so your shortcut should now look like "C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps\SimCity 4.exe" -intro:off
