City Bankruptcy. Need Help

I am having trouble, serious trouble with my city. I have like one year until they remove from my city office in simcity4deluxe. I am also using this mod that gives me like 10 billion income each month, so now I have like 50 billion income, and like 100000000000000000000000 money, im seriousy. The problem is that I have like under 100k taxes and stuff for all my fire dept, police, etc...... And after bout a year I get removed from office for insufficiant funds. And I'm like *****....? Why am I being removed from office even tho i have billions of dollars I need help please. Can anyone explain why this is happening.

you do know that numbers do have a upper limit.

move the mod somewhere else and you should be fine.

apart from that what do you need 10 billion for? if you plop all parks
your are under 1 million. if you plop all fully funded schools you should
be under 10 million. so seriously why 10 billon? do you set your
tax to 10 0%? this sound like a mod you keep for one month and then
remove it, to have an even easier start.

No.... I have a 50 billion income from a mod, something called a "money tree" that gives you 10billion a month in income. I have five of those. Then I have under 200k in reductions from all of my funding to schools, police, fire dept, health, and then I have all of my taxes to zero for the commercial, idustrial, and residental taxes. so like 50 billion positive income a month then negative 200k a month for taxes and funding. and im make a huge income over all the deductions and stuff, but still i get removed from office for insufficient funds. tell me why

The reason you are being removed from office is because the game thinks you have negative money.

There is a limit to every data type in computers, when a number goes over that limit, it wraps around to the other side, which is the same number (minus one), but negative. You have gone over that limit. I'm not sure how SC4 works with these numbers, but it is possible that it displays numbers a little differently than it calculates them internally. Because normally, nobody would ever get close to that limit, so it wouldn't be a problem. But with cheats, sometimes it does become a problem.

Funny, I just posted this same link in another topic. Anyways, this is an "extra cheats" plugin that should help fix your problem. Just install it to the plugin folder, hit CRTL+X in game, and the cheat box will open. You can right click to see and select your options. Choose, or type, "Moolah" then a number, and you will have that much money. For example, "Moolah 1000000" would set your funds to exactly 1 million. Then get a different, safer, money park!

I dont see how you can go bankrupt, its so easy to get millions without cheating... just put in services when they are needed instead of all at once and you'll be fine

hey patriot frosh,

so i understood you right. delete the parks and you are fine. since you will have

negative income you dont make any more money and therefor will not hit the

upperlimit.

and with this much money you should be set for a couple of centuries and if

you run low on cash plop one of this stupid parks.

Or even better, dont use cheats. your cities are better without them.
