Sunken Highway Problem.

Hey all,

can anyone help please?

I'm banging my head against the wall here for the past 2 hours.

I'm trying to follow this tut':

For Sunken Highways. I got the mod installed ok, and followed everything as best as I could.

I took the road tile and placed it 4 wide to flatten it out, then I got the sunken plop that just has this little yellow digger in some what seems like sand of sorts and place it over the top of the tiles, nothing happens, no sunken anything.

So I tried the other tool that's for ground level highways, did the same thing and still nothing.

From what I gather from that tut above, after creating the path with the road tiles all one had to do is place the digger tool over the top and it would dig into it. But that's not happening here, no matter what I try, nothing.

Can anyone shed some light why it's not working?

You need to actually drag a road / othe appropriate network type through the hole-digging lot for it to work.

Haha the same thing happened to me a few weeks back.

My problem was that the land where I was trying to create a sunken highway was too close to sea level and therefore the hole digging lots didn't work.

When I tried the hole digging lots at higher altitudes they worked perfectly. It's a pain in the ass because I really wanted this sunken highway through my downtown but w/e I had to settle for the elevated instead.

Hopefully that answers your problem. If not then I don't know what to tell ya...lol
