You're not supposed to remove it, it's supposed to go over the top. I think you should learn how to use a pc properly. Then you wont have performance problems.

Well, I know for a fact it's your AMD, whether or not I like Intel. I know how to design logic chips and I know exactly how they work. Why don't you get a dry ice cooler system to cool the CPU down, or remove the CPU, put more heat resistant gel / compound on the CPU, you're supposed to do this twice in the first year for maximum heat dissipation. Or try getting a ThermalTake cooling tower system. It's what I use and CPU temp is around 17-21 degrees.

I thought Dirk was gonna do something to speed up this site, it's so slow, it takes away the motivation to get involved in this forum or read posts fast enough when you're trying to learn something or find something. This has got to be the slowest site I've been to in years. 20MB broadband connection here.

This might sound like a silly question, but did you add the passenger thingy you plonk on top of the rail? Is the passenger thingy next to a road so they can access it? Have you tried re-arranging the way the roads are, just making the roads go towards highways, forcing them to use rail to get where they need to faster... works for me. -
I think it is. I'm an IT Engineer by profession. All of the customers I have had who have had problems with their PC games, my first question is, is there CPU an AMD, 9 times out of 10 it is, since it's cheap and nasty. After I convinced them to upgrade to a Intel, things were much better. Sure, Intel are expensive, but there's a reason why. Intel's last a lot longer than AMD, AMD as i say, are cheap and nasty and you get what ya paid for. C**P.

little confused what these cheats do, the list doesn't make any sense to me, any videos available to see what benefits they are, just curious. I don't see what everyone is happy about.

Mind seems fine, i've got like 250,000 in each of my city square blocks. AMD processors aren't all that good, they get really hot and slows down the overall performance. You're better off investing in a Dual Core or Quad Core Intel Processor. Must faster, more reliable, and performance kicks butt.

weird, probably need to remove it or it's dependent on another plugin. Those boxes there, the big ones, what's those, I got those on mine but I don't think they should be there.

Hmm, I've even increased the pagefile system for the hard drive, removed all plugins and still the same thing. Helllllllllllllllp.

I'm having the same problem, every time I try to run the patch: patchsku1top1 or patch-sku1-to-p2 I get this message: Old file Not Found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match. Does any one know what this means, and how to fix the crashing to desktop prob? Cheers
