Why is it bad that you voted for yourself? If you don't vote for yourself, then how can you expect someone else to? (And BTW, you're definitely allowed to vote for yourself.)

    crazyarchitect: Thanks, it does.

GreekMan: Don't listen to him. He has a problem with acting like he's in charge of the CJ. We can be neighbor citites though, if you want.

Ntq$310: Campaigning right up to the end.

Nice job. Where did you get those windmills in the ad?

Patricius Maximus: You're welcome. Of course that interchange is on the 401... 21.gif

Hampi: Sorry about the lack of updating. There'll be a new one soon.

Matthew: I'll check it out sometime.

Splime: No, I said I would prefer it if people didn't vote for themselves, but there's no way I can stop them from it.

    Ntq$310: I did. Thanks.

Everyone deserves a Healthy & Productive Life. As Head of the Department Of Health And Education I will:

    * Ensure that all Health Systems have enough money to treat patients, and I will try as hard as possible keep healthcare prices down, as gas prices continue to have high prices.

    * Enforce governtment spending on schools, colledges, libraries and museums, as well as hospitals and local clinics.

    * Build schools in districts to give a head start on Education, which will prove worthy in later years.

    * Build a colledge when the teens graduate from high school, and are always ready to continue learning.

    * Build a library right away, as they are cheap and contribute to all ages. And when we need another museums I will do so.

    * Build new clinics and hospitals to give cheap healthcare to everyone.

    * Enact Free Clinic, Junior Sports and Pro-Reading Campaign Ordinances, as they will help improve the health and education of our well-beings.

If all these plans contribute, Virgin Shores will have a healthy, smart, and long living population. That means that high paying jobs and companys that pay lots of tax. That will let more people move in, soon to be very smart and healthy.

Thanks! I appreciate you voting for me!

Ntq$310: For some reason I have more votes than anyone else (at the moment that is... i'm sure someone, after reading this, will find a way to put me in my place lol). It's been a high turnout for this election. Well done everybody who's voted! High turnout's always provide the most accurate results!

    A final campaign ad.

I appreciate all the votes you gave me. Almost as much as Psander5, which says a lot about my reputation as DOT head.

I shall work to fulfill these promises, as I always have with Virgin Shores, Franklin County, and Patian County.

I guess this begins my second term. I'll give my inagural adress later 3.gif.

Ntq$310: Cool. I got them, and by the results above, it appears you'll get to use them.

    Hampi: Me too.
At least we didn't have any ties.

DoctorJ: I've got the results with me now.

    Ntq$310: Gee I wonder...

Hampi: I have mentioned them recently. When oil was first discovered gas prices were at about §10/gallon, and after the discovery of oil on Lomni Island (see the Daily News Issue 4), they plunged to about §6. You might call this high, but the simoleon does not have an equal exchange rate with the US Dollar. It is actually much less than what we are paying, and gas prices there continue to drop.

psander5: You made it! Yep. I was pretty proud of this turnout.

Patricius Maximus: Welcome aboard for your second term. And nice scenic "Super Two" in the ad.

Splime: I don't think it's fair for them to vote for that position at all. I think it's unfair for people to get that extra vote.

TimeMaster: You can't compare Virgin Shores' gas prices with RL. They're way less than a $ a gallon. But then again, people in Carcas, Venezuela were, a few months ago, paying only US$.26/gallon. That's more comparable with Virgin Shores' gas prices.

myrunespace: Polls closed 44 minutes before you made that post. They were only open from 17:00 UTC on the 15th to 17:00 UTC on the 16th (today).

    Greekman: No, I'd like to.

Ntq$310: Yeah, sorry I had to get off the internet before I could post the results, but I did take it down not long after 12 (VST/GMT-5)

manubeas: Thanks! I love your avatar. The results are at the top of this post.

And I didnt think I would beat you, but I ending up doing so. DTP: Wow, the gas prices are great, hows the other taxes? Healthcare tax will be very low.
