Ahh.. here's where it gets interesting... highways.

A good interchange resource is kurumi.com. It has diagrams and descriptions of most types of common interchanges.

Update 9: CR-5 Developments

Basicly what's going on here is 3 new villages: Mountain Town, Peak's Suburbs and Lakeshore. They are not as major as the 5 towns of the region but they add little town feeling to the region itself. After every highway making I'll probably make an update like this to add more little towns...

Update 10: I-5/ I-60 Under Construction

So instead of posting alot of pictures in one update I decided to do it in two. The Under Construction update and Complete update...

Looks like a pretty successful mix of FHW and RHW (with my textures ) Glad to see it progressing.

One question though: Will there be enough traffic to justify the freeways? The island doesn't seem to be that populated.

Well, I missed an update. But it is of no concern. It's only twice the fun of reading it!

You have some very nice villiages.

Also, some good freeway building going here. Although I have a certain hatred of at-grade intersections, I suppose they'll do for now....

Lastly, I think I predict a highway going through the northwest valley from Mountain Town to Evergreen sometime in the future....

Major population boom!! In a way...

Update 12: Expansion...

Population Boom: Some cities have quoted they grew 3x the amount they were before!! Sadly Quincy is almost broke and they couldn't affored a new development. Some cities quoted that they will pay for the development. The reason for the population boom is that there is over 6,000 more jobs than sims on the island. Demand is still strong and population will keep growing until the end of the world...

Ever Green and Uoni Island have grown 3x (almost 4x) there original population.

Peak grew a little bit.

Ports Mouth grew enough to regain as the largest city on Uoni (Chain) Island.

Quincy couldn't grow at all.
