Muck308: Your ghetto reminds me a bit of Robert Taylor Homes in Chicago. The long-line of projects and all that.

Some of Saint Joseph's cleanest and most attractive inner-city projects. Based on the Bronx (New York) and Jamestown. (Toronto).

Zoning 1X1s is the easiest way to make a little ghetto.  I zoned it, went to the other side of the map, came back in a few sim months and got this.  The shanties put the finishing touch on this little slum.

Here's a little block that looks menacing enough:

Here are two hoods close to downtown Atlanta:

I'm not familiar with the neighborhood, but I've never been to Chicago. I'll check it out. Thanks.

Here are just a couple of shots from my City Journal. My town, Balboa City, has only 50,000 in population (so far) so the slums aren't too big yet:

Thanks!

This one here just sprung up on me... I didn't want a slum! God, it's so ugly!

Here's my ghetto.  Witchita Gardens on the left, and on the right a project simply refered to as the "X".   Squalid dumbell tenements surround this pit of Sim misery....

Those are some nice looking ghettoes.  My current city only has around 8,000 sims, but most of them live here:

Neofita that is hands down the best ghetto I've ever seen. Truly amazing work!! The graffiti, the trash, the sewage, everything is so awesome. Great job!

Neofita, Really fantastic work there! Its not just shabby looking buildings, you went the extra mile and deliberately added the gritty little details, the trashy alleyways, the muddy aqueducts, and construction site. Even I haven't made something that dilapidated (that's still inhabited, anyway).

From a fellow grime worshiper, Excellent Job,

-Todd

Wow! My "ghetto" sure isn't as realistic as some others on here, but here it is anyway:

All these pictures are from the community of Northside.

This is a slum in West Dundee, part of a big metro area i'm still working on. You can see the slum in the top and right of the picture. The ghetto in Northside was intentional, but not this one.

Great job everybody! I don't think I have any ghettos at the moment, I'll have to search all my cities first...
