Well, the first time I did this was with Nexis by mrbisonm, now Digby is the victim! I read this entire CJ in one sitting and I'm now constantly checking in for updates and such. And yes, you and Sugar look very nice together.

I know what you mean. But Paul's a busy dude, and however long I have to wait, I will. Look at Norwich(andrew george's CJ). There wasn't an update for 2 months and when one finally came out, tons of people commented.

Your CJ is the best I've seen yet and your region is spectacular!  It is readily apparent the amount of time you put into it as well as the attention to detail and creative thought.  One quesiton, though.  How did you get your cities to populate so much agricultural land?  When I try to make an entire map mostly ag, it seems like I hit a wall where no more farms will appear.  I've tried tying it to tax rates, population, county fair, and farmers market awards but to no avail.  Any help?  Because I see your region is thriving with farms.

Also, your thoughts in the early pages on development, farms, transportation, etc. have been very insightful.  Much appreciated.

He'll come back. If you can keep a CJ going for over a year, you can know that the creator will come back. I know I would. We just have to be patient.

I Know, I am Never Home!

Hi everybody! I know it's been a while since I have done anything with Digby, and I am sorry to see that the Edmonton Journal (although it is great!) has unseated the Digby Journal as the Most Read journal in Simtropolis...however, I am still on a wicked schedule right now.

 

I think I am mentioned that in addition to the eight million things I do in life, I also do a lot of acting, and I am playing Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music...rehearsals for this production are every day and are in addition to my full time job, so I am out of the house from early morning until almost midnight every day! This will only last until the middle of March, when the show finally opens. It only plays for three weeks, so I promise I will get back to the journal in a couple of weeks!

 

Please be patient, and remember...climb ev'ry mountain, ford ev'ry stream...

I'm glad about the use of my water modd (actually, all listed were mine, except Flamesrock, which was half mine) but I have just released a modd specially designed to blend with the PEG stream kit. I hope you will take a look at it (BTW, just glancing around I am reading about the conflict on p6, is is rather funny!)

On an unrelated note, Is anyone out there a fan of Family Guy? There was a character named Paul Lewis on it, same as our friend lewellan222 here. He is in the episode Ready willing and disabled for those of you with the complete series on DVD, like me...

Yes, he was the guy who needed all the money for his complete organ transplant, and they talked about him being lucky to live past puberty, and a dude with a Jimmy Connors mask comes and swipes the bag with all the donations. I have the entire series on DVD, lol.

HI I looked at every page of this city journal and i love it so much......I live in a northeast town and the way my town developed is very similar.... except we got rid of all of our farms just after the 1900s Either way.. I am very inspired and i want to make my cities develop just the same way... THanks Paul
