Well you can find the Terraformer here.

And you can find the SC4 Mapper here.

You have to register at SC4devotion before you can download the Mapper though.

Okay I have it, I used the instructions in downloading a reigon, but it didn't work. The instructions said open your reigon file and click save reigon, but it just goes back to when I first opened it. Help?

Well there are some instructions in the Omnibus for how to do this.

To install a map created by the Terraformer theres a thread here.

you must create an account at sc4devotion.com to download the files you want in that site; but before that, you have to make another account on that site (means that you will have 2 accounts in sc4devtion). The second that you should make accountis the BSC exchange at the lower left side of the site......

Go to the Builders Forum and look at the mods threads. There are several articles in the Omnibus. I'd suggest making a BAT-based lot before you try to make any other kind of mod. This will help ramp you up on the terminology. You are entering a big learning curve, so take your time and have fun.

I have the SC4Mapper and SC4 Terraformer but SC4M doesn'nt run and says to log file that something like it cant't read by codec?. please help me how to fix this thing.

I want/need these 2 programs, the site you are linking on the entire web isn't working. Stop linking me that I want a mirror. I spent like 2 hours googling and all they link is the same devotion to god thing, and there is no download link anywhere on the page, I even went as far as the source code of the page... And 3 different browsers. Registrated to like 2 things. Can't you like mirror it here on this website simtropolis and stop bending over out of politeness and tell them "you suck, you had your chance so we mirror you now".

This is all rather incoherent. What is it that you are trying to get?

It is not site policy (without special permissions) to provide links on the STEX to alternative download sites for items that may or may not be uploaded to the STEX. Call it "politeness" or just "deferring to the creators desires", works created by those who, for what ever reasons, decide not to upload it here are not made available through other means.

The easiest way to get Terraformer and/or Mapper is to get them from the LEX, which it sounds like you found through Google. You do need to be registered and logged in on the LEX to view the download links - as is true for many of the various SimCity 4 exchanges. Once logged in, you can use the Power Search to select "Tools" to find the programs.

I agree withs skynet. I spent a bunch of time making an account, looking for a non existant download, just to be banned by that site minutes after registering, and they claim I'm a spammer. How is this even possible? What a joke. All I wanted to do is use a map from this site and I'm wasting time banging my head against a wall trying to get 1 program. -_-

I am an Admin on the forums at SC4D. I have located your account on there and you are not banned, nor there is no sign at all on that your account or either IP address you've logged in under have ever been banned.

I should also add that having a forums account will not grant you access to downloads--a separate LEX file exchange account is necessary for that purpose, if you don't already have one. As my Admin powers do not extend to the LEX file exchange, I can't check on your account there.

It's worth noting that it's against the rules of this site (Simtropolis) to publicly air grievances directed at other fansites. See #3 under "Common Sense Rules".
