UPDATE

Chapter 1: A harsh new world

The story begins in western europe, and in the UK a group of people who have been livng in an underground bunker for the last several years emerge into a very different world.

 A frozen wasteland

The group of survivors

The first task the survivors have to do is find a source of food and fresh water, there bunker supplies have run out and they have been forced to leave. The sky has cleared and the ice is retreating, this can only mean the planet is returning to normal.

 Chapter 1 continues in the next update. 

p.s. sorry if these updates are a little short i havent really got much spare time right now, nevertheless the story shall continue.

cumodious: yes it is a small part of europe, what you can see here is France and the UK.

It certainly looks promising especially since I haven't got a clue what your cities are going to look like all!

UPDATE

CHAPTER 1: A HARSH NEW WORLD

After wondering across the baron wastelands that were once known as Great Britain for several days, the group came upon a fresh water source that was being fed from below the ground, there was also some plant life growing around it.

The group decided to set up camp here. They had brought their emergency supplies with them, which were only to be used if they ever had to leave the bunker. their supplies consisted of some tents, canned food and tools for making fire.  

Shortly after setting up camp a member of the group spotted some deer in the distance, it was decided that they would have to be hunted. they would be used as food and the skin would be used for clothes.

In the next update, Chapter 2: We Are Not Alone.

IM SORRY TO SAY THAT THERE WILL BE NO UPDATE FOR A WHILE AS MY COMPUTER DISC DRIVE HAS BROKEN AND UNTIL I CAN REPLACE IT I WONT BE ABLE TO PLAY SIMCITY 4.



Forget all that i just took the whole thing to pieces then rebuit it and now it all works fine.

I regret the fact that i Havent got the time to reply to you all individually, but thankyou all for taking an interst in my CJ.

 

BTW: the scenario created of a frozen earth in this CJ, was not caused by man made disasters such as Nuclear war or global warming. the actual cause of the disaster will be revealed in a future update.

UPDATE

Chapter 2: We Are Not Alone

It has been almost a month since the survivors set up their camp, and still they are living off deer and their tinned vegetables. 

Conditions are still improving, it seems to be getting less cold each day and where the snow has thawed enough little patches of grass have begun to grow.

One clear day they heard a distant rumble, then suddenly a military jet flew straight over their camp.

     

The survivors cheered with joy because now they knew they were not alone.

The group were still talking about seeing the plane it had been almost 2 hours ago now but they where still buzzing with excitment. then one of the group spotted a truck in the distance coming straight towards them, they knew now that they were going to be saved.

Some british soldiers told them to get in the back of the truck and said they would be debriefed on what is going to happen to them back at the base. the survivors were now very anxious about what the men said, some thought they were about to become conscripts and sent to war.  

About 1 hour later they arrived at the base, it had a big wall around the outside with tanks patrolling the perimeter

They were taken straight to the leader of the base, he first congratulated them on surviving the 10 year winter, then he told them that soon they would be taken to a ship and the ship would take them south, to the equator where it was warm enough to live easily. He said there was a few settlements there with around 100,000 survivors from around the world.

The survivors were now very excited about going to there new home. once again they were bundled into a truck and taken this time down a long dirt road which took them to the coast. 

   

Once they arrived at the coast they boarded the ship that would take them back to civilisation.
