question regarding columbus terrain mod

OK, it's just something, that i don't get it.

I installed a so called columbus terrain mod, but somehow, i don't get those textures.

I got the trees included, but the grass terrain i hoped that would change just didn't and remained the same.

Please, help me.

Is this the one you tried? If so, did you delete the TerrainParameter files you don't need? The download comes with four or five different terrain files, but you only need one depending upon the effect you want. Also, you didn't by chance inadvertantly delete the TerrainTexture file or have another terrain mod that may be overriding this one? Check the readme for more info.

check to see if you have terrain textures 3 and 4 my friend and then the terrain controller of your choice for example i have olympic

If i'm sincere i admit i downloaded this mod months ago so i don't remeber exactly which mod i DOWNLOADED

I just have folder in my plugin directory, with name:

COLUMBUS TERRAIN MOD

in the map there are 3 files

CPT_No7_TreeController_DefaultMaxis_RequiresNo8andNo9

CPT_No8_TreeModelsPartOne

CPT_No9_TreeModelsPartTwo

that's exactly what i have. I only got trees, no different terrain.

You simply have no texture files. You're missing "CPT_No3_TerrainTextures_Essential.dat" and "CPT_No4_TerrainTextures_Essential.dat". I suggest redownloading the mod.

Where do you download the mod? I've searched the stex and lex but I just can't find it, only the olympic mod
