Frustrated about Roundabouts and GLRs

I installed both NAM (June 2007 and January 2008 versions) and the Road Top Mass Transit (by darkmatter), and it looks like that I don't see the roundabouts and GLR (light rail) tracks at all! What can be the cause of this, and can you please help me resolve the problem so that I can finally see two things that I have been longing for in SC4? Thanks!

EDIT: You don't need to post the same problem twice (just a friendly reminder)

And Darkmatter's RTMT does not work with the NAM ( search cogeo as the author on the STEX and newer RTMT lots will be there that you can use.)

For GLR you go into the misc transit menu. Then select the icon that looks like this: GLRDicon.jpg

Then you place the piece and select the icon that looks like this: ELRIcon.jpg

Then place your cursor on the first tile of Piece you placed before, and drag, the El-Rail will convert to GLR.

You can then drag using the El-rail diagonals, switches/points, level crossings as you normal would with normal El-Rail

Press the TAB key change between different types of GLR (Rural or urban)

For Avenue Roundabouts, go into the road menu and there is an icon of an AvenueRoundabout, click it and press TAB to get different types of Avenue Roundabout, you drag one way road, road and diagonal avenue from the corners of the roundabout, and striaght avenue from the sides.

For Road and Street Roundabouts, just draw a 2x2 circle (with either the street or road tool depending on whether you want a street or Road roundabout) (so thats 4 90degree corners right next to each other.) It will convert into a roundabout. Then just experiment with which networks you can drag from it and how.

For One Way Road Roundabouts draw a 3x3 Circle with the OWR tool. leaving an empty tile in the middle, it will convert to a one way road roundabout, it matter which direction you drag the OWR in if you drag it the wrong way sims will not be able to use it.

If you need any more help or if you can't find something just ask, if you dont understand or I'm not very clear just ask as well, I'm here to help.

Anythin else transit related PM me and I'll see if I can help.

-Jonathan

Never install more than one version of the NAM at one time. Renove both versions, then install only the most recent version.

The NAM 2008 update requires the NAM June 2007 to be installed before the Update is.

You must have both the NAM June 2007 and NAM Jan Update 08 installed, any versions before June 2007 must be removed.

Wow, that goes to show you how long it's been since I installed the NAM updates... Sorry about the mix up.
