Your Skyline is how old?

I'm trying to build a nice skyline in one city, but how many years should it take?

Ok first of all, try to spell "you" like "your". Makes it look wierd. It should take about 250-300 sim years.

Well, it shouldn't take that long. Build a big enough city, keep pollution and crime low while Education and Health standards high and you should have no problem.

On the other hand... you can just download alot of mods and cheat...

With certain mods, you can cut that time considerably, Mine usually take about 50 years to develop and it's a mix of plopped lots(to make it a signature skyline) and grown buildings.

i don't use any cheating mods...i use the nam only...it takes me around 25 years to build a downtown with a pretty decent skyline...the secret is smooth fast commutes, parks, and placing CO$$$ and CO$$ effectively...i'm in year 30 of my newest city and have final stage skyscrapers developing (8 i believe pre-CAM and 15 post-CAM)...i don't use plops either...
