niloluiz: Just wanted to say thanks for making this mod. I looked through your files with ILive Reader and am still puzzled how you were able to locate all the appropriate exemplars. Did you work at Maxis on the SC4 project ?

Anyway, it's a great gift you've provided. The best mod yet for tweaking the simulation engine (most straight forward). Now I can play with the values until I get exactly the modeling I want.

Thanks again. Much appreciated.

Believe in only what you can prove.

I put down about 26 tennis courts in my city of 12,000. Every building in my city was dilapidated. I know why it happened, I have no problem. But ti was Funny.

This must be a patience problem, because I put in the homejobs 25%, jobs rebalance_uncapped, and all the demand mods, yet my residential still doesn't grow quickly in some places. I check the desirability data map and it is maxed for all levels of residential (not even using the desire_override) but still housing is slow to grow in some areas (these areas are green for desire, too). In any case, I will use you mod because I like the idea of the rebalance (and fixing the HT job glitch, that I didn't even really investigate too much). Homejobs is also a brilliant addition, really helps eliminate some of those headaches of TOO LONG commute to work (even though most of my sims should never have to travel much farther than 100 tiles (AT THE MAX) to reach a job, but some still find a way, haha.

Great addition to the community!

Hi there, can you tell me more about the "jobs_rebalanced_uncapped.dat "?

There is something really interesting in it. Do you think it could be defined as a realism mod? I mean I'm about to start a new region as the last one I had had always Res $ and Com $ demand at maximum, I believe mostly given the fact my downtown city is very desirable and only R$$$ and R$$ were coming there to live. I would like not to have such an high demand for R$/Cs$, do you think your mod could be the solution then?

I hope I was clear..

Thanks

did you get a reply to this? cause i want to know also as i want to make special low wealth and high wealth only cities

Please look at the time when that post is being posted, that is nearly 3 years ago. Please, don't bump an old thread, it is against our general rules. And the number of replies he gets in total is 34, quite many, so you can read them one by one.

"jobs_rebalanced_uncapped.dat - Rebalanced version. Each $$ building creates 20%$$$jobs, 50%$$jobs and 30% $jobs."

the above is definitely the most interesting feature of this mod. i'm wondering does the above also apply to industrial buildings? E.g. I-M will generate 20%$$$jobs, 50%$$jobs and 30% $jobs, since I think I-M is kind of like the CS$$ or CO$$.

SimCity 4 better than Cities Skylines change my mind.
