A modd list!!

Hi,  I have a really big favor to ask everyone.  I have been experimenting with the different mods here at simtropolis.  but due to my VERY slow dial up connection it is very hard to search through the entire stex for all the modds.  so i was hoping that everyone could post up there favorite mods from the stex for poeople like me.  thanks a million.

Do you mean Modds, or plugins? There is a difference between the two, but, you probably mean plugins, such as BATs and Lots. For this, I'd suggest that you search NDEX, PDA, DuskTrooper, Oneil_1, etc.

Now, a list with links may take some time to compile, but, it would be helopful to people with dialup. Perhaps a links-only (to the description window)version of the exchange is possible...

No  i mean modds   like the water mods and rock mods.   but their scattered all over the stex and sumtimes hard to find.

AH, well, those can easily be found by searching in the textures section, if the creators uploaded them correctly.

If not, just type in some keywords in the search area of the exchange. Search is there for a reason, ya know!

hmm i didnt know that the mods were located in the textures section.. thanks for the info.  but id like also like to know is wuts everyones favorite modds and bats...  from the stex.

The Nework Addon Modd - otherwise known as the NAM - is by far the best thing to happen to SC4. It fixes all the problems with the traffic system. You need to have the SC4 Deluxe/Rush Hour to use the NAM. It is not hosted on ST, but you can dowload it from here.

My favorite short list of modds are:

1. NAM Modd
2. Water Modd made by PEG
3. Ground Rail Modd (makes trams available)
4. Slope Modd
5. Rock Modd by Peg
6. Zebra Crossing Modd
7. Arctic & Snowcapped Terrain Modd

If you want to know what these modd exactly do, then I advise you to search this modd by keywords on the forums

My favourite mod is the zebra crossing mod. Since I live in Sweden the original road texture didn't fit in my cities. Of course the slope mod makes the game so much more realistic.
