to make a lot so that it doesn't have to have road access to function? Specifically, this is for the generator lot that I made, and seeing as its just the kind of generator you would buy and take home in the back of a pickup truck and set up, I would like to make it so it doesn't require road access. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so how would I accomplish this?

Modify a park/plaza lot and Save As. Parks don't require road access to work.

Lots that do not require road access are those that are not Residential and do not provide any jobs, neither Commercial, Industrial nor Civic jobs.

Parks do not provide any of those jobs, that's why they don't require road access.

You can also easily change any other type of lot not to provide any jobs by deleting the properties Capacity Satisfied (for commercial and industrial lots) or Demand Created (for civic jobs).

E.g. the in-game windmills and water pumps (which are not parks) do not provide any jobs, and do not have to be placed with road access.
