    Update.jpg

Today: Lucero and the Ameria Wind Farm

    I lied.

There is one update before June 25th. Soooo.....

Well guys and gals, this is it! The first construction, hope you like it!

    *PLEASE NOTE*

Resizing these images causes them to loose much of their quality, which is why each image is linked to the full-resolution version. PLEASE! I IMPLORE YOU! Click on each image to see the beautiful full quality version!

    Location.jpg

    AmeriaProvince-Jan23-001212949626.jpg

Lucero is a (very) small town in the breathtaking forests South of the Ciel  Mountains.

    AmeriaProvince-Jan23-001212949673.jpg

There are only a handful of residences, and a population of about 80-100.

    AmeriaProvince-Jan23-001212949711.jpg

Though it is mostly medium wealth to upper-low wealth, some rich people have homes here to get away from city life, although a long commute is the price to pay.

    AmeriaProvince-Jan23-001212949751.jpg

Most shopping can be done here.

    AmeriaProvince-Jan23-001212949772.jpg

But for everything else there's Mastercard ..... errr.... these small shops I mean....

    AmeriaProvince-Jan23-001212949892.jpg

    An overview of the town.

    AmeriaProvince-Jan23-001212949799.jpg

The road curves to go around an igneous intrusion long weathered and eroded.... and then stretches on to go to the next few towns which may be the subject of another udpate *hint hint*

    Ameria Wind Farm

    AmeriaProvince-Jan23-001212949307.jpg

A winding road snakes up the hills to the wind farm on Grey's peak.

    AmeriaProvince-Jan23-001212949281.jpg

    AmeriaProvince-Jan23-001212949351.jpg

The wind farm provides power for the majority of the Ameria Province.

Stay tuned for more probably not until late June!

Excellent work with the town! It is very much like some villages I have seen in Vermont along endless winding roads and greenery. One again, you are to be congratulated on the spectacular tree diversity!

Well, sort of, but mostly because the Italia tree controller has a missing dependency somewhere and I had to delete 2 out of every 3 trees that spawned.... 26.gif

Thank you my friend! And you really hit it dead on: my inspiration was the villages and outposts of upper New England!

    Update.jpg

    (At Last)

    Clifton Creek

Clifton creek isn't much more than a rest stop, but here are some shots of it. I am currently working on the new Geneva (the capital), so its been very busy. I've also had some mapping business to take care of.....

Anyways, enjoy the pics, a really interesting update is coming soon!

Ahhh, the customary greeting of every nation.

    B2.jpg

The local McDonald's is said to occasionally give hikers photosensitive seizures due to the sharp contrast in color with the natural surroundings.

The old church is the centerpiece of this historically old community.

    The local school field....

Wow, I love all your buildings! Once again, the flora in your cities is amazing!

You are right that McDonalds is far too colourful; and it's the same in real life! Although they have been remodeling many "restaurants" in the American southeast to blend in with the surrounding buildings better.

The creek is delightful! And I like the historic school. It is a fine lot.

One thought, you may want to swap out the cobblestone around the church with the brown brick pedmall tile. It will blend it better.

And, thanks for putting McD's in my mind... I cannot rest now till I get my NUGGETS!

    Teaser.jpg

    VERY Juicy Teaser!

Here's a little snapshot of the new Geneva (The Capital)! The structure in the centre is called

Arc de Félicitée, meaning Arch of the Praised Ones, and was built in the 1800s.

    Without further ado:
