But my problem is that the city seems to not grown anymore. I don't know why because the mayor note is maximum and the RCI demand is very High too for everything. In fact everything is perfect in the city... except that I want bigger skycrapers :'(

And you need some custom content. Also, I would recommend getting a water modd and a terrain modd. If you need any help, just pm me. I look forward to more.

It might not be a bad idea to have some satellite cities, maybe some farms, some factory towns. Since SC4 is so big on region play, it's probably a wise idea to incorporate that into your current project. I struggled a LOT before finally doing that (also, please shrink the pics down to 800x600: a moderator will scold you!).

Beautiful region view! I really like how the city has a defined center. I would highly suggest to start downloading some of the amazing user created content found here on the STEX. It will really spice up your cities.

Look for the NAM in the downloads section as well, as I see you are trying to create roundabouts. With the NAM you get real roundabouts, and a whole lot more.

    Still fine Job my friend!

800x600 images. It's a rule on the forum, please obey them as it's really important for people like me with a slower internet connection or smaller screens.

That city looks pretty nice. I like how in between the skyscrapers are trees and forest. Also it looks like the city has a good transportation network. Also don't think I'm a newbie just saying that to be nice, I've been here a while... just not posting. My suggestion is download custom content, you said you want big skyscrapers. Well thats the way to get em'!

Looks like a great city, but, no offense, really Maxis-y. I would definitely suggest using the STEX. Other than that, though, it looks interesting. The PanPacific Building, I think it is, is taller than the Empire State Building and gives 10,000 or 50,000 or so jobs!

    Good Luck!

Well, it's maybe unimaginative but it is efficient ! Why do youn thing New-York (the real city I mean) is like that too ? When they design Manhattan a century ago, they decide to do something unimaginative that could help the city growing to become what it is now ! My only purpose was to have a big center with skycrapers without cheating.

My industrial zone is everywhere, and is only $$$. The garbage are all incinerated or recycled in the middle of a forest to absorb the pollution of the incineration. The city use fusion to have clear and reliable energy.

Lot of you speak of custom content, but im'n not sure I want that...

Anyway I don't know how to help growing more my city. I guess I must try to add satellites cities. Also, there is big traffic problem near the center. I can double the roads there and build another highway, it will maybe change something ?

But my biggest interrogation is why urban decay seems to happen all the time with $$$ residence only. I have to destroy douzen of building every tree year because they are abandonned (commute time too long). I just dont' understand why. Because commute time can't be too long when the $$$ residence is near the center for example ! It's just weird. Also why is a road parallel to an highway completely paralyzed with traffic, when the highway is perfectly fluid (like the habitant don't want to use it, like they prefer to use the congestionned road !)

I understand what you mean with no growth and rich sims moving out. In my city of 750000, wild fluxuations of demand and density happen often. In fact, it's even worse with super demand ordinance. The city is starving for people because there's hundreds of thousands of jobs in the city. The river was almost completely flattened over to make way for a hospital, school, and tons and tons of houses.

If you're going for the largest city you can, the best way is a ton of low-money high-density.

If you're going for diverse largest city, it will take quite a bit of work.

    Good luck!
