Sims speak gibberish

Just wondering what the story is with Mac version of the Sims you can place in the game. I though they spoke English when I last played the Windows version. Aspyr said this was normal for the mac, that the Sims spoke a language all their own. What is really the point of having them yapping in the background if they never said anything intelligible to the player?

I this just the way it is for the Mac version?

Same with the PC version. If you notice, all sims games have the same gibberish language. Would you rather here what they are saying, because that would get kind of annoying..

Its not gibberish...Its Simlish!

It's the same thing with the PC version, and all the other Sim games, for that matter.

You must have a foreign pirated version. My Sims are very articulate. :-)
