I used a few NDEX lots and other buildings including DA William's Plaza, Lighthouse Tower, Bahrain WTC, Tornado Tower, Wat Pra Prahma, Chelsea Tower, Oceanic Tower, and Canals.

I also used a few mods including NAM (of course), Less Abandonment, Super Demand Ordinance, Extra Cheats, etc.

If you meant to present the pictures as thumbnails, unfortunately it hasn't worked. Perhaps if you upload the picture as direct link, it will show in full. Look forward to seeing more pics mate!

    OK, my first actual update!

    img256.imageshack.us/img256/5931/pyroterrametrojan220211if7.png

This is PyroTerra Metro, a smaller city outside of Miltonia. It also has a few skyscrapers, airports, etc. The main part of the city is based on Metro Peninsula... so far.

    OK FIRST REPLIES

EVERYONE: thank you for posting. I may get a few new pictures soon... tomorrow maybe.

MIKE THE MAYOR: I think I got the pictures to work.

BBFAN02: May get more pictures soon.

JACQULINA: Thanks, pictures may come soon. I am still kinda figuring out how to put pictures correctly.

SUPLADO!: Thanks. I like the canals, I use them as artificial lakes and put buildings sticking out into them. I'm still learning, though, kinda... I just downloaded the canal stuff a few days ago. The peninsula is where the river splits off into two directions.

    JT1

P.S. Isn't anyone curious about the names of the cities?

Next update (I think): New construction in Miltonia, the current capital.

Some districts, some buildings here and there.

    UPDATE:

    miltoniajan151011989803of8.png

Miltonia always was somewhat of a boomtown. Wait, is that THREE grown Lighthouse Towers? I swear, that wasn't me.

    miltoniajan151011989806by9.png

Good ol' Obeleskis Pyramid. I made that up, lol.

    miltonianov171111989813tm7.png

Wow, the latest picture of the city. Like I said, boomtown.

The only problem is that all of your pictures are in PNG. Can you make them into JPG?

    2nd REPLIES

BBFAN02: Can't get the pictures into JPG, not quite sure how.

    UPDATE:

    http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/9113/miltoniajun914119915458lc2.png

This is new land. I'm going to develop it soon. But I need votes! What to design it like? Historical, Modern, Suburban, Middle Eastern, Parks and Canals, or Mix?

I think it's about 3/4 the size of a medium tile, so it's very spacious.

And, to help with Imageshack, I recommend usingthe code found where it says "hotlink for forums [1]"

    Hi, Joetropian1 ...

May be You'll show us some pictures of Your Great CJ now ?

Or may be You will read some articles in Omnibus section on Simtropolis for this (PNG or JPG) ?

And my mind - You must really listen Mr. The Schulmanator ...

From Your first 29-12-2007 to 01-01-2008 - this is enough way for pictures of Your CJ....

    Happy New Year !!!

    Good Luck ...

    3rd Replies!:

EVERYONE: Happy New Year! And please vote!

SCHULMANATOR: Thanks for first vote! I happen to have a few historical buildings (temples, schools, libraries, hospitals...) So having a historic district of Miltonia would be quite a good learning experience. Stil figuring out how to post pictures.

SILUR: I did actually reveal some stuff about my city. If the latest link thingy is working correctly, it should be in enough detail to show the population at about 80,000, the RCI demand thing, funds, etc. Thanks!

    Votes: Historic: 1

    UPDATE:

    humbletondistrictjan300jq2.png

This isn't much of an update, sorry, but it was much too tempting! It's simply railways outlined with roads. The city it's in is my newly created "Humbleton District." Off to the left is an industrial area, the Golden Gate Bridge, and some more railways and railyards.

Criticism and comments alike are accepted. I am still learning CJ tricks, rules, etc.

Voting will only last a few more days and there is one vote: Historic.

I have decided to vote, too: Mix.

    Just updated!

Schulmanator: Thanks again. Remember to check back in Thursday and Friday for unlimited votes! But that doesn't mean 10 posts in a row saying historic! Also, cat-shaped roads would be very interesting.

bbfan02: Thanks. And I think I got the pictures to work. Check back soon!

    OK, results are:

    Historic: 2

    Mix: 1

Keep voting! Friday is te end of the voting and starting thursday you can vote more than once!

    Happy New Year!

    JT1

P.S. Just finished work on a HUGELY terraformed area of two new cities. They may come sometime around the weekend (I hope). I can only hope you will be surprised by it.

I love this! I am so glad that you are making or have made, a CJ. I don't have the CJ smarts, and I will be eager to see how yours develops. I will subscribe so I will be sure to catch all your updates. Good luck...you won't need much luck as you are doing so well all on your own. :-)

    Historic downloads??

    PING! Am I being paged?

Try doing a STEX search for JENX or Xannepan for starters. There's also some nice hsitoric churches. Search for church. And a castle or two.

    I vote again for H I S T O R I C !

I did say the vote was supposed to end on Friday (I think) but since I love voting and a few people voted mix...

    Historic: 5

    Mix: 4

BTW there ARE other choices: Middle East, Modern Suburb, etc.

A problem has arisen: By historic, do you want to 18-1900's or so, or ancient?

    All historic, sorry, please clarify.

Construction is about complete in the secret city area. It took HOURS of pefect terraforming to get the _______ right, plus the _____________ _______ took a while. The _______ look great, too. (I'm not revealing until the update)

It's taking much too long, though... longer at least than I was expecting.

Voting will now stop on Friday for Newer Historic or Ancient Historic.

    Replies:

super_monkey: Thanks. I will try it. Check in regularly for updates

Hester: Thanks. This is my first CJ, so I'm not familiar with subscribing?

Schulmanator: Thanks, I will try those downloads. My plugins folder is nearing 200MB though, I think.

    Hester: Thanks, every vote counts!

jrone3: Thanks, Mix is catching up to Historic!

Hester: Yes, Mix is great, isn't it!

    I vote Mix... again.

    Historic: 5

    Mix: 5
