Splitting Avenues into Oneways

I want to split an avenue so that it turns into two one way roads that then branch away from each other and travel in parallel along my city grid. I was looking for an adaptor piece in the STEX, but no luck. Any help?

I know if you run a rail down a side of a avenue, you will be left with half. One way roads can also perform that task, it shouldn't be too hard.

Simply drag a one way road to the end of the avenue, and away from the avenue for the oposite direction. Like this:

A=avenue <=one way

Do you have the NAM installed? if so then yes, dragging the one way roads as ricb showed in the above post should do the trick.
