Best Method for Editing CJ

Quick question.

What is the preferred method for editing CJ's? Do I keep editing the main post or do I do updates after the initial post?

I have seen some Journals that are very impressive. I can only hope to progress to that level.

How do you make a Table of Contents that links to a post further down in the thread?

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere and a link to any info is appeciated.

I'm fairly sure this is the wrong spot for this. You should have put in the SimTropolis Community section, I think. I would recommend deleting this and making a new one in that section first. 

Well, to answer your question, you start a journal, then you click edit on your first post. A screen will pop up and you can post links there.

You don't need to make a thread here, this area is only for finished products. You can post this in general discussion or somewhere like that.

I dunno that's what I think.

Anyways:

1. You make new posts as it goes along

2. Check out different people's Tables of contents. You can just edit the contents post w/ new stuff as you go and perhaps link them to each page.

to link to certain posts...go to the page of the post. right click on "reply" of the post you want to link to. select properties, then go to the URL, highlight and drag down. see where it says "parentid"? Copy that ID and paste it was STARTPAGE=1#.
