Check out    http://kartor.eniro.se/

We all like to rest our eyes on the cities in Google Earth, but this is even better.

Eniro is pretty much Sweden's answer to Google Earth, but one big difference: The "Utsikt" view, or "View" view. 3.gif  In our three largest cities you can browse the views taken from aerial photos. It is quite neat. Just search either Stockholm, Goteborg, or Malmo, and then click the  UTSIKT tab in the top middle. Here are some examples:

Oh shut up, you that think that windows live earth or google is so much better, infact, google doesn't even zoom in on Norway and Sweden, they just show blurry and crappy satelite images, and msn maps only shows aerials of Oslo, while sites like Gulesider.no shows TWENTY cities' aerial pics in Norway, the same goes for Eniro in Sweden...

Google earth makes my house look like a deformed blob. It's a nice big house too.

Glenni, I never said it was better. I just couldn't tell the difference. 34.gif

windows live is somewhat similar though, there are aerial views like those on the birds eye feature. they have helsinki, copenhagen, oslo, stockholm and many other scandanavian cities...quote>

That's what I thought.

When it comes to Scandinavia, Microsoft only provides the Birds Eye's view to the largest cities, while Eniro have bought the rights to all large cities (by our northern measurements). The funny thing is that Microsoft will show me detailed pictures of Copenhagen in Birds Eye view, but not detailed satelite photographs!

But I have to say, Google offers a much better service: Higher resolution over more of Scandinavia, somewhat better maps, and, of course, timetables for trains and Metro! I'm also using Mac OS (when I'm not playing SC), and I hate the way Microsoft limites the use of Virtual Earth.

But take a look. It's the Dalgas Have part of the Copenhagen Business School (the large building next to the tracks). The station to the right is Lindevang, which Vester has BATted.
