Game Issue. Error Message when Re-installing Rush Hour.

Hello Fellow Simtropolis Citizens:

  I recently upgraded my computer and I tried to re-install Rush Hour.

"A problem occured when trying to transfer the file 'D:\simcity_2.dat' from the media".

- Please Help!!!!!! I need the game for a school project.

Did you disable the antivirus before installing?

No I did not, but this never caused an issue when I used to install the game. I'll try it again.....does anyone else have suggestions?!

Is your disk scratched?  If so, you might try a scratch repair kit.

If you can't get by this, you will have to buy another copy of the game.

I didn't have a problem with Vista, and SC4, but I did with Vista, Civ4, without disabling the AV.
