    Update 2

Sorry about the delay, been having connection issues42.gif Here are a few random pics from around the region. Remember if the pictures are pixelated click on them for higher res.

Heres some resedential high-rises in Portsmouth which is south of Trementon but still in the metro area. And yes sometimes Maxis buildings really do look good.
    portsmouthjan3mz7.jpg
Some new skyscrapers in Portsmouth. The greenish looking one is the headquarters of the Sun Oil company. And the one next to it is 115 Park street, a mixed use skyscraper.
    tremontonjulja7.jpg
Another new skyscraper (the wide one) in Tremonton, Xavier Tower.
    seymouraprlc8.jpg
Highway 15 plunges under the Frisco river on its way out of town.
    seymourapr2he6.jpg
A nice little park north of Downtown
    seymourapr3ye1.jpg
The local Mosque. This area has a fairly large Muslim population.

Ross Stadium home of the Trementon Whalers

And finally a pic of the developed part of my region.

Ohh yeah, BTW, could someone tell me how to change the topic description?

    Update!!! (finally)

Here is Tremonton International. Ive been working on it for a week, and its nearly complete.

There are 5 runways, 32 gates, a mono-rail line, 5,000 parking spaces and two highways connecting to it. It takes up nearly half of a large city tile.

Heres some shots taken at the airport.

The main entrance(s) featuring a replica of a WWII bomber.

A plane loads while the sun sets

    westlandtrementonintlauez3.jpg

Its a hot day, todays high is expected to reach 105; local highway report- 15 is clogged as usual, and there are reports of an accident on South Bay avenue, other than that everythings movin' along and there are no airport delays.

    westlandtrementonintlmaxu9.jpg

    Hey, look! Visitors!

All- thanks for your awesome comments and presence.

bbfan02- I got the bridge idea, when i saw the scene in War of The Worlds movie where they show a Boston in ruins with the Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge still standing. Glad you like it, and the skyscrapers.

edmonton_stinks- I totaly agree with using maxis content, as long as its appropriate and not repetitive.

More pics to come, and maybe an article out of the Tremonton Tribune in the future, so, watch out!

Im back with some new pictures. This time were going a little out of town into some suburbs. There are hundreds of trees and numerous parks and some nice little homes. Plus, I have ditched the grid almost entirely with roads winding all over the place.

    davismayhp0.jpg

The town of Davis, about 8 miles (I think) southwest of downtown.

    davismarqg3.jpg

Some houses along a busy Hill Rd. These people living here have the best radio reception in town, as the broadcast tower is just a short hike up the hill. (you can see a sliver of it to the extreme far right)

    manchesterdec1oz1.jpg

Highway 15 is a 4 lane tree lined highway through the city of Manchester then widens to 6 lanes while passing through a quiet neighborhood.

    manchesterdeczr6.jpg

    Yet another suburb.

A nice little path through the woods in autumn.

    Now for replies...

suplado- thanks, glad you like what Ive done

    jacqulina-Hi! thanks!

Mike the Mayor- The water mod is actually not showing up right, but people like it and it looks good, so Ill leave it. And thinks for the comment, I appreciate it.

Smarty218- Hey, give it time, and youll get better at it! Practice makes perfect.2.gif

GingerBlokey- It turned out a lot better than I thought it would; its my first time doing a project like that. Thanks for visiting and supporting! And I like your Trixie!9.gif

    edmonton_stinks- Thank you!

    bbfan02- glad you like it!

    2nerdy4u- I thinks so too.

cleaner475- Richard i got the filler right here (link)

I would hope its Fahrenheit, because that would be one hot tarmac..
