Haha, that's hysterical. Here's my favorite:

COULD THE FRENCH GIVE FARMERS CANCER?

And then there was one with lesbians and the church, but I'm not going to go there.

"" WILL GYPSIES GIVE CAR DRIVERS CANCER? ""

I can't stand the Daily Mail, total load of b****cks, one of the worst papers in the UK, I tend to stick to the FT, Times and Guardian as well as the Belfast Telegraph.

But is so funny to watch political satire comedians take the pi**......very funny indeed.

LOL! It gets repetitive after a while, but occasionally hysterical. We need a US version.

Let no one yield, we're on the field where deeds eclipse the sun; where the brave are told on a thread of gold, the tapestry is spun. As they speak of dreams, their armor gleams, this calm before the storm... Where all can see their destiny, the bishop takes the pawn.

DO GAYS INFECT THE ELDERLY WITH AIDS?

I hate the Daily Mail. I hate the Daily Express, I hate The Sun, The Star, The Mirror, The Sport and THe Evening Standard.

I read theGuardian or the EDP.

Sometimes The Independent, Times, FT or Telegraph.

Daily Mail is definetly the worst of the bunch.

Edit: I love the David Blunkett Policy Maker. It's so true, except he isn't Home Secretary any more.

"Detain immigrants indefinitely under the Terrorism Act, and then give them a 'Citizenship Test'."

"Jail foreigners, and then fit them with electronic tags. And charge them for it."

LOL, so true. I read the Daily Mail in the morning for a laugh sometimes, hilarious stuff. It can be quite interesting soemtimes, but usually it's just laughable. GB is right, all those papers are tosh, but I disagree the Express is the worst of the bunch. Here is a dream Daily Express headline: "Global Warming and Migrant MI6 Agents Killed Diana by Inflating House Prices".

well, the whole point of a tabloid is to cause sensation (I suppose) don't take it seriously, I mean, tabloids over here in the US talk about how celebrities sleep with aliens or whatever.

oh and my "David Blunkett" said

"Give Guardian readers a 'Citizenship Test', and then jail them. And charge them for it."

I read the Independent, its not a bunch sensationalist bullcr*p to entice readers, its full of good, wholesome information, usually on the War in Iraq... and they don't mention Diana once! Its fantastic!

Great, Coolotter! They should come up with one for The Washington post. It's getting like this.

It's interesting to read the comments from ElBurro and the other U.K. residents who posted. I remember when I was young and first read the Daily Mail. (I'm from the U.S.) It blew me away that this was London's main newspaper. I thought it was some kind of a joke and maybe I had purchased some kind of a take-off on the paper, but it was the real thing. It was worse than the National Enquirer or the Star, which are "newspapers" that you can buy at the check-out line in supermarkets over here. They have headlines like "Woman Impregnated By Alien Gives Birth To Elvis's Son".

I'd have to disagree, They can be quite sensationalist, albeit about actual newsworthy subjects. I stick with the Guardian myself.

However, here I couldn't agree more.

You're right, GingerBlokely. Those were my thoughts when I first read it 40 years ago or so. It seemed more, to me, like the "bizarre" newspapers we had here as opposed to the "straight-laced" ones like the N.Y.Times, etc.
