Game turns off.

Hi. 
I have a problem.
I've download a lot of files from STEX, and when i want to play the game it shut down.
It happens when i open a city, and the second line of those funny text appear (like increasing magmatisation, checking the matrix and other).
I don't know what to do.

Last time when it happens I deleted the game, and all files in the plugins folder, and till now i didn't return to the previous condition (still i did not download all the files that i had before)

I don't know what to do.
Please help.

Maybe a review of the stickie "Plugin Mania" might help with the problem. For safely adding plugins, it's best to do one at a time, then test it thoroughly before adding more.

This exact  thing is happening to me as well. It only started after I downloaded Smoncrie's hole digging modd, the 0 height bridge modd and a set of sunken highway sides. I have deleted all of these and it still does not work. Help!

It happens to me too. I have noticed that saving your game regulary prevents this.

for sure, review the plugin mania thread above.

To see if you have plugin trouble, move all the files in your plugin folder to some other place away from the game and start the game.  If it runs (with brown boxes), then it is plugin trouble.  If not, I suggest a reinstall.
