Update

I have built up to the town centre and built around 40% of it. The whole centre will be based around the monument at the bottom of the following shot:

The local school and beginnings of the offices:

Here it is from the reverse, lots of high wealth people living here!

Here is the southern part of the centre of town, you can see the famous Rockhaven Church, famous as it was the first building constructed on the islands!

Great update! The road modd that changes the color of the sidewalk looks good. The elementary school fits in very nicely with the area. Keep up the good work!

Update

Just finished off the town centre today (had a lot of real-life work to do!) so it is a small update, but i do like to get one in at least daily!

Here is the town centre completed with a few houses and shops to develop:

Here is a shot showing that same town centre from a reverse angle after development:

Here is the immediate surroundings of the monument in the centre. You can also see that some really high wealth housing is developing in the area, and i hope that some high wealth flats will develop here as they did in areas of Southern Rudston:

This one shows the main government building to date (yes! Rockhaven is for now the capital city of Yusonia as it was the first area to be settled):

Finally, here is a shot showing how the suburbs become the town centre in Rockhaven, it is a quick change in the South!

It IS soon after the last update, but i want to show this and maybe get another one in tonight

This one is all about how to build suburbs on a difficult mountain side:

First thing to do is to level off the terrain in sections using roads, and draw up the roads connecting the levels together:

Then you have to add the walls to the terrain:

Then you have to delete all the pieces of road:

Then you have to add the zones:

Then add the trees and let it develop:

Here is the usual local school:

And the whole town so far:
