Litterally, I'm playing normally, then it freezes for a second and minimizes but the game is closed and I have to do my city again from the last save point. I've tried re installing twice and it still happens. Please help!

    Hello!

First...I'd suggest just using the Edit option to edit posts instead of posting three different ones in a row. It saves space, and gets people off your back.

Second, there are plenty of reasons for your computer to crash to your desktop. For example, do you have any plugins installed? It could be one of those...or two plugins that don't like each other. It could a number of things. Can I ask about how long you play before it crashes? Is it immediate (before your city loads up), or after you've been playing for a while?

Um, it usually happens after about 3 minutes of gameplay.

Yeah, I have a lot of plugins installed. I have NAM, Radius Mod, Industry Quadrupler, both of Simgoober's Chicago fire stations, Smalltown Fire Station 2, St Twigiilian hospital or something like that,  Newman Inc. Memorial Hospital, General Hospital, Tragocimus PD, Sheriff's Sub Station,  Philadelphia style airports, Aral Gas Stations, Shell Gas Station, Asphalt highway texture, PEG Leveler,  Gated community set, Simgoober's public pools, and Haiwian Holiday Water Texture from PEG.

My graphics card is a NVidia 6600 GT. I have 102 Free GB out of 149 GB.

Yet more information is needed.  Without it we are shooting in the dark:

    1. In your folder My Documents\SimCity 4\Exception Reports you will find a text file that contains some header information then a memory dump.  We don't need the memory dump, but the first 20 or so lines of this file can tell us a lot.  Please copy them into your next post.
    2. What operating system are you running?  Service Packs?
    3. What is the configuration of your machine?  In particular, how much RAM do you have?  What processor are you running?

    4. We see your graphics card is an NVidea 6600 GT.  What driver version do you have for it.
    5. What are the settings for your virtual memory?
    6. What are you usually doing when the game quits?
If we can get this amount of detail from you, we can get a better handle on what is happening.

I did READ IT, and that's why I said, that I don't have any exception reports, because I just did a fresh install.

He was right in complaining about your post.

Do you not know how to start your own topic?

I agree with tungston.  You must not hijack someone else's thread especially here.  It just muddies the water.  If you want help with this, start your own topic.

    1. They all have dates on the files.  Pick the latest one.
    2. See Tungston's comment above.
    3. If you run DXDIAG from your run box, it will tell you most of the stuff about your machine on the first page.
    4. OK
    5. When you tell us what operating system you are using, we can help you with this.
    6. Avoid zooming with the mouse wheel.  There has been a lot of trouble with this.  There are only 6 zooms, so use the number keys.

If you are feeling technically challenged by all this, ask a local person who understands this stuff to help you.  You must know someone who is a computer techie.
