Subway/Elevated rail doesn't show up?

Hey,

After installing the latest NAM the traffic information graph no longer shows any information relating to elevated rail/subway, even though that is the rapid transit component of my city.

What may be a compounding factor is that I recently had to clear my hard drive and, lacking my SC4 disc, had to purchase Deluxe and so am playing an old region not from deluxe in deluxe. While playing before the switch and update subway/elevated rail appeared fine, but no longer. Ideas?

Welcome to our conversation.  Can you put a snapshot of your graph in the next post, please.

It is important that you updated your game from the Simcity site.  Even Deluxe needs update 1.  Deluxe simply is a disk set containing the original game and rush hour combined, so it shouldn't be different.

I don't recall there being a NAM traffic information graph?  Is there one?

It could be that the city was developed in the Basic version, I don't know.  But the lack of the graph for subway is not related to NAM.

A bug existed in SC4 Deluxe/RH regarding the Traffic Graph for Subway/Elevated Rail. It would only display data for one of them, not both. The Update1 for RH/Deluxe addresses this.

I was actually laying in bed last night thinking of what could be the cause when I realized that I hadn't updated it since I got it. I updated it today, seems to work fine. Thank you for all of your help though!

Hey everyone, new the the community, first post here -

I am having a similar problem as therealglueboy, but instead of elevated rail it happens to be my heavy land rail trains that is not showing up. I can see a small front end of what looks like a green car in on the tracks, and the route query for both freight and passenger stations shows that they are in fact working, its just the graphic of the actual trains that aren't showing up correctly. It looks silly because there are these little tron-looking green mini-cars that are zipping from station to station all over the place, so the actual train network is up and running correctly.

clgassman - the vehicle animations are absolutely meaningless and have no bearing whatsoever on your city - they just serve as eye candy. The green things are rail maintenance vehicles, and are beyond annoying (there's actually a modd that gets rid of them, go look it up).
