Hmm...its me the good old radioactive lizard. I am having a problem with the newly released SAM beta (I believe its beta). The starter piece won't show up. I have nam and the latest rural highway, but I don't know if those affect it. Some help?

I have the NAM, RHW, and SAM installed and all work fine, so I can only offer a couple of thoughts...

Is the SAM icon showing up in the Road Menu? When you installed, did you use the default settings - all boxes checked and the path to the NAM folder?

Perhaps something is loading out of order. I read on the support thead at SC4Dev that the suggested install order should be...

     a)  NAM (Jun 2007)

     b)  RHW (ver. 13b I think)

     c)  Additional Bridges

     d)  NAM Essentials

     e)  SAM

hm...I need to redownload then...thats odd though, why would you have to download like that?

It's not a download order, but an installation order. Order can be important as the files are loaded from the plugins when the game starts. Some may replace replace others. So, the last files loaded will be the ones which take effect in the game. Hope that makes sense.
