I caught a strategy off the SC4 homepage that mentioned creating single subject regions (RCI) and connecting them. I was wandering (although it would be possible in reality) if sims carried their intelligence over into other regions?

Well I know for a fact that they can share demand. First you let a residental region grow then take away all their jobs. Connect them and they will seek the jobs in a neighboring regions. I suppose this would put hinderance on commute times tho. I was just wandering if they carry more than just their spot on the demand graph.

The whole process of creating a triangular depence cycle between three regions is a bit annoying but I heard its an easy way to get to see the endgame buildings.

I think Yoshii's response was to the misuse of the term "regions", the proper term is "city/cities".

Education only applies to the residents [sims], and they would carry their education level where ever they went.

I doubt the later stag buildings will appear sooner in regional play, than in a well organized, and developed city.
