I just got a new computer, and I don't think the default settings a very accurate, so I'm wondering what video settings I should use with my new comp.

Intel PentiumD Dual-Core 3.2Ghz

2GB DDR2 Ram

nVidia 8600GT w/ 256MB GDDR3

Specifically the draw speed. Can I set it to highest? By default it was on low for some reason.

Thanks.

You should be able to set all the options you would like on high.  Anytime you install an update, the settings default to low, that is just the way they work.

do you mean in the game or on your card because as tungston

said "You should be able to set all the options you would like on high. Anytime you install an update, the settings default to low, that is just the way they work." this is for the game or do you mean on your garphics card?

If you mean on the card i would recommand you set your draw speed to Med.

You should not make any card settings for the game, they should be "Use Application Setting". All graphics setting for the game should be made with the game options.

The update I refered was the game update. I don't remember if the SC4update4BAT sets them to low.
