How does one search the Modds & Downloads section?

just a thought try using mod or patch all by it self dont give it too much to search i have had same ? and found if i cut what i'm asking for down usally find it

Well, you see, there's only about 120 downloads avaliable in "modds and downloads", which isn't very many compared to the STEX's 10,000+ Downloads. I was lucky to visit modds and downloads for the first time, type in "train" and get Trolca's train set. But as trolleyman515 points out sometimes if you make the search too specific it'll come up with nothing. There are several modds on the STEX so you may wish to try there. If not I'd try www.sc4devotion.com .

You know, I'm having the same problem. For example, when I type 'NAM' , or 'plop' it finds nothing. I believe it's just an issue that will be dealt with soon, as I didn't have this problem one week ago.

Well, I believe this is what you were looking for?  I just clicked on "modds" on the left side where it says "categories" and scrolled through everything.  Figures it was the last one--I mean the very last one--in there, on page 7.

If you find a mod that uses the Rpatch program, run do not walk to the nearest exit.  These old patches are of the original SC4.  We do not patch the game any more, and we do not recommend it.

If you apply any of these "fixes" to the current game, you will destroy it.

If you are looking for something specific, look by name.  Otherwise, there are not that many entries, so just browse.

On the other hand, if you are looking for official patches to the game, you need to look on the Simcity 4 site, not here except for certain downloads that will be found in the "Get your maxis files here" thread over in General Discussion.

For Rush Hour/Deluxe there are two updates:  Update 1 from the home page at Simcity 4.com and the update for BAT night lights which can be found near the end of the BAT downloads page.  the second patch is also available from the above mentioned thread.
