Here's a quick preveiw of the new Brookehsire. I've downloaded some great downoads, and in my opinion, the most reaslistic terrain modds.

I hope the region can grow postively from the crash.

In later updates, the cj itself will get a new look and the city will begin to regrow.

    Hope Everyone sticks around- Crazyyaya

I decided that while I was rebuilding anyway, i might aswell improve. I've rebuilt two Brookshire lots from before, aswell as set up a base for the sunken rail system.

I started with the civic center, nearly rebuilt.

    downtownsep900119129958qc9.jpg

Then I moved to a building that got a good response. The Media Center.

    downtownsep900119129956db5.jpg

And a logo for the Broadcasting Corp.

    overstandlh7.jpg

Next I moved to the South tip of the city, when the region crashed I had left off building a financial center. I've now starting rebuilding that area as well as perfecting it.

I've added a small, high-tech power plant to power the southern penninsula.

    southdowntownmar1601119zx2.jpg

Next I upgraded the Financial Plaza, now with three business high rises.

    southdowntownmar1601119rm8.jpg

For now I will leave the tip open, lots of options to fill this nice space.

    southdowntownmar1601119wd8.jpg

There's a shot of the mid small mid-level buildings that cover the rest of the plaza.

    southdowntownmar1601119jd2.jpg

Now for this picture, I need some suggestions for a building to fill this space, I'm looking for a small building to go in between the two large ones. It would be nice if the roof was arched like the winter plaza in the World Financial Center in NYC.

    southdowntownmar1601119sy7.jpg

Still lots of room for expansion. Hope to see lots of comments.  - Crazyyaya

First off, the city is about half of what is was before the crash at this point. I started planning a base for a strong population. A hospital to start off with.

    downtownsep900119181833vz3.jpg

The major project I took on was the new Modern Energy Plant. It is pretty hard to top the old one. This version includes a Garbage Disposal aswell. The first photo, a intersection leading to the entrance of the plant.

    downtownsep900119181836zi2.jpg

Here's a quick shot of the whole plant as of now.

    downtownsep900119182069qj7.jpg

The plant is owned by Hydrotech, a division of General Oil and Gas. Shown is the plant headquarters.

    downtownsep900119182037wf6.jpg

Here's a shot of one of the new sectors of the plant, the garbage disposal.

    downtownsep900119182041uh1.jpg

The electric plant is similiar to the previous one. This one has eight towers, a water storage tank and parking lot.

    downtownsep900119182065cu4.jpg

Back to the southern part of Brookeshire, I've added a quant little dock to the Financial Center.

    southdowntownmar1601119ux2.jpg

Commercial fishing will play a part in the south economy.

    southdowntownmar1601119py5.jpg

Lot's more to come, stick around, all comments are greatly appreciated.- Crazyyaya

Nice planning, i myself are not naturally a fan of plopping, i prefer free growth. I like the direction but i think some recreational and mixed commercial and residential areas are in order

     South Central

Thats the new name I've given for the ward that I previously called the South Downtown. This update will showcase the step to start to develop the area.

First, I plopped out a niceGLR system to get future residents around. ( shown is a small modern station).

    southdowntownmay6021191jj7.jpg

Next I pumped up infrustructure and Healthcare to provide a good base for the future.

    southdowntownmay6021191sh5.jpg

The next step was to let the ecomony bloom, thousands of citizens moved into the first neighbourhood. The neighbourhood also has alot of room to grow, up and out.

    southdowntownmay6021191zj0.jpg

After, I zoned and let urban sprawl grow apartments along the transport sytem.

    southdowntownmay6021191hl5.jpg

To keep the sims from leaving, I let Coca-Cola build a headquarters in the small CBD.

    southdowntownmay2702119ef8.jpg

And of course I added some fine details to the residental area. Still lots more details to come.

    southdowntownmay2702119wq5.jpg

And for the small, lower class, a slightly polltued indsutrial area and dock.

    southdowntownmay2702119xh9.jpg

    And the result....

    southdowntownmay3102119ss7.jpg

    Til next time- Crazyyaya

ooh, a little slum-ish there, isn't it? well, most big cities have them, so that just adds to the realism. and great use of the GLR system. let's see more soon!

Hello Crazy, as you requested I have posted.

You may also noticed that I took a lot off of my list, as I obtained it through a friend.

    My list of demands follows:

On the fourth page, your first post with city pictures.

Fifth Picture - i see some sea walls, just the name or author for those would be much appreciated, i love the colour of

    them

    Third Post with city pictures:

Second last picture I see yet another seaside wonder, those Port pieces look so lovely and I am really in need of something like them, so please author or name should suffice.

Really? Only four comments in a week on an eight photo update? And I had to request for one of the comments. Thanks for those who did. I don't want to sound greedy or obbessed with 'ratings', but I might have to put 5 decent sized updates on one page. Maybe I'm over-reacting, it's just hard to continue a cj when I know there aren't many people who have even seen it. Anyways if I manage to get on a new page, I'll have a nice big update on Wednesday or Thursday. Again, thanks to everyone who has commented so far, I'll find a way to reward you, I'm sure.

    Edit; 900th post!
