Neighbor Deals Not Working

Hi all,

Been lurking here for several months and this is my first post.....

Anyway, my neighbor deals are not working. I have SC4 Deluxe. The neighbor deal is requested, I accept the terms, but no money comes in as part of the deal. Plus, I repeatedly get news alerts on the ticker stating that the terms of the deal have changed, when they haven't. Regardless, I accept the terms, but still, no $$$ showing up. It's really bugging me and I haven't the slightest clue why it's not working.

Have you played both cities to sychronize the deal? Maybe the need for the utility has change in the buying city.

ummm......Try playing both cities, like tungston said, or mabye you dont really have any of the recourses you are trading, anyway, good luck!

Are the 2 city well connected? Making the road/rail/line/pipe throught the border isn't enought, you need to link it to the main systeme of each city. Here what i mean, pipeline vrsion (but it work for road/rail/line). http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/9339/pipelinexs3.png

Also, make sure you have updated to 638 (by downloading the update from the site).
