Now then unlike some people I prefer to be honest. I personally, don't like it. The combination of the suburban houses with the high-rises makes it unrealistic and I don't like your choice of buildings either. Sorry but a bit of criticism is good sometimes. No-one on this forum ever criticises.

I too need to join GB, first delete all those plazas in the city and go find some nicer ones on the STEX, that will look much better, also destroy all the buildings around that huge church in the upper corner of the third picture, and put parks around it, at the moment this isnt much of a Garden City, so i would also suggest going onto the STEX and downloading some parks to place making the area around the canal more fancy and parkish. Also i would only plop buildings around this park area so that you can get the image you want.

Anyway nice try i do like how that japanese garden and the canals those are nice, but it all kinda clashes with the other buildings...fix those couple of things and this city will look VERY nice

I like the water/moat area as part of a big-city environment.  Brings a little bit of the country/wide open space to the big, skyscraper city.
