Welcome back and once again great update! The slums looks very realistic such as the ones of the Far East and the Maxis' homes on the right are well zoned, I like the street network.

Great work, dude! 44.gif

Well, I guess all places have slums; I try to overlook them, though. Very nice job, and great attention to detail!

Nice slums (and to think some of the dwellings are Maxis originals too)!. . . I-I mean uh--terrible slums! Very terrible! (Whatever!--as long as you know what I meant when I said "nice")

What an inconvenient truth it is. Even when your Manila is supposedly set in the future, the squatter's area still looks the same in the future as it does today. Some things never change.

    El Torro

    76547.jpg

    567567456.jpg

The "El Torro" Coloseum has finally finished renovation. Bult by Spanish Conquistadors in the 1600s this has been the symbol of Colonial Spanish rule for centuries. Recent renovations have restored the magnificent landmark to its old luster. And now shines again over the horizon.

The Coloseum offers classic re-enactments of famous Filipino and Spanish scenes during the Spanish colonization. Although one of the favorites are the depiction of the people who participated in the Filipino Revolution. 9.gif In more non traditional uses, the Coloseum is expected to attract Bullfighting competitions from all over the world!

I really like that asian-looking arch over the road. You combine the asian elements so well with the latino ones. Wonderful job!

The typical middle class neigborhood in Manila. These communities dominate the island. The communities are safe, attractive and affordable. Manila being in the Tropics get torential amount of rain. The city have constructed huge amounts of channels designed to handle and route excess water throught out the city. It can handle up to about 20 feet of flood waters efficiently.
