awesome pic, where'd you get thoose houses from? I love them!

keep it up, an amazing job so far 4.gif ,

Cleaner/Richard, here you go. Search SOMY's site (try page 7).

I'm feeling nationalistic all of a sudden. Strange.

Anyway, nice use of the houses. They seem to stand out in your mosaic.

    Seat of Power

    1-1.jpg

    2-1.jpg

    3-1.jpg

The newly constructed  Government Buildings. The Rotunda shaped National Congress is where City Officials meet to talk about the city's infastructure, transportation, utilities etc. The Statue in the middle is the Jose Rizal Statue (See Bottom). And the Tropical themed building is the home/office of the Mayor, which of course had to be extravagant & fit for the tropical conditions. 16.gif

    Sim_Air - definetly when I have more content! 9.gif

This is real & serious 10.gif

Jose Rizal - The national hero of the Philippines. He was an advocate for reforms in the Philippines against the Spaniards. He was executed in 1896 & he became a martyr of the Philippine Revolution against Spain.  An extremely skilled writer & communicator; his works became the nucleus for the inspiring of Filipinos to rise up against the Spanish rule. An interesting fact about him is that he spoke & mastered 22 languages!!!46.gif29.gif

Very nice, and great mozaic!  The roundaouts are very realistic; they remind me of many in the Caribbean.

Nice work on the government building and its surroundings especially the roundabout. Once again, the placement of the plants and the palm trees is excellent.

    Microscopic Commerce

A typical residential high rise filled with poor & medium wealth Sims. Clean & Safe but not necessaily the most attractive. But their location near Commercial infastructures like supermarkets, malls & major transportation spot makes them a pleasant location to live in.

Incredible start for a first journal - Whats the building you used as the National Congress?

Very nice use of mosaics, and color adjustments. I think you got them just right.

However, that rock mod is really annoying. Theres no way you could change it?
